Brewery Tours 2020
Following careful consideration we are please to begin welcoming tours to the brewery again from 4th July 2020.

Our annual Summer Series of brewery tours commences on Saturday 4th July and will run on Saturdays throughout the summer season at 3pm for the foreseeable future. This may be revised based on advice and guidelines, and groups will be limited to 8 participants with family units being distanced. Our Summer Series is always a fun, relaxed session where we welcome visitors to the brewery for a talk through the brewing process and ingredients followed up with a tutored tasting of our beers. We will do our best to make as convivial an atmosphere as ever while implementing social distancing guidlines! Booking is now live, use our online shop to choose your date and take your place.

Group bookings will also be welcome at the brewery this summer. Groups of six or more can book for a private tour group, and we will do our best to accommodate a date and time that works for your group. All tours will take place outside of brewing times to adhere to our social distancing protocols. Contact us with your preferred date to schedule a tour and tasting.
Brewery Tours 2020 and Covid-19
Protocols will be in place throughout the brewery and all visitors are required to adhere to signage and directives throughout the brewery. Visitors will be asked to arrive at their assigned time only, wait for entry and sanitise hands on arrival. Summer Series groups are limited to 8 people and social distancing measures will be in place between family units. In our tasting area this will mean assigned seating on arrival, with visitors taking the same seats for the tasting after the tour.
During the tour itself, and throughout the brewing facility, visitors will be asked to remain separate from other groups and shared handling of ingredients, equipment or utensils won’t be permitted. For the tasting, guests are requested not to handle any glassware or bottles other than their own and cooperate with staff for the safety of all. Masks are not compulsory but visitors are welcome to wear them, and gloves are available to guests if required.
We look forward to welcoming guests to the brewery again, and our Covid-19 protocols may be revised in line with guidelines as the season progresses.
Waterford Producer’s Feast
Chefs Shane McGrath and Paula Hannigan bring their combined skills, plus love of local producers, to the brewery for another of our famed long table dining events. After a welcome drink, diners will be treated to a top class dining experience celebrating local producers with expertly matched beers for each course, all set amongs the industrial background of the brewery.
Our dining events have become hugely successful and places are always in high demand so early booking is advised!

Brewery Tours 2015
Following on from the popularity of last year’s brewery tours we are delighted to announce this year’s Summer Series.
Summer Series 2015
Join us on Friday evenings throughout the summer when we will host a ninety minute session including a brewery tour, tasting and food pairings. These relaxed, informal events were very popular in 2014 and this years sessions are soon to fill up quickly. Sessions include a look at the brewing equipment, a talk on the brewing process and the ingredients we use as well as a tutored beer tasting. Tastings will be done with one of our certified Beer Sommeliers and food pairings including the award winning Brewer’s Gold cheese from The Little Milk Company will be on offer.
Head Brewer Cormac talking brewing
As we are a working micro brewery our tours are ‘on the ground’; you get to meet and talk with the brewers and others who are hands-on in the brewery and have a thorough knowledge of beer and brewing. Visitors on last year’s brewery tours included Cork blogger Billy Lyons who wrote about his tour on his blog, which you can read here.
Booking Information
Sessions will begin at 5pm, running on the following Fridays: July 10th*, 17th, 24th and August 7th, 14th 21st. Entry fee is €10 per person.
Group sizes will be limited, so advance booking is necessary.
Bookings can be made online via our webshop, or get in touch with us either by email, on Twitter or on Facebook for more enquiries or to make your booking.
These sessions are for over 18s only. *July 10th now fully booked
If you would like to do a brewery visit outside of these times please contact the brewery and we will do our best to accommodate you. Be aware, though, that summer is our busiest time both for production and events so we may not be able to meet all requests.
Beer Dinners
We have a couple of great beer and food pairing nights lined up for August – one taking place in Dungarvan and one in Dublin, both teaming up with craft beer-loving chefs who have put together some amazing menus for you to feast on!
Merry’s Gastro Pub
First up, we are teaming up with Merry’s Gastropub in Dungarvan for a beer dinner on Thursday 21st August, featuring a five course tasting menu with each course being paired with a Dungarvan Brewing Company beer.
On the night, diners will be treated with dishes from Merry’s kitchen such as tuna carpaccio, Thai green curry with neck of lamb, black pudding with Ardsallagh goat’s cheese and homemade apple chutney, cheeses and dessert all paired with a different beer and served in the sumptuous surroundings of the recently opened Merry’s 1868 upstairs craft bar.
Dinner with accompanying beers is €25 per person and as spaces will be limited book yours now by contacting Merry’s Gastropub on (058) 24488. Further beer dinners will run with Merry’s throughout the autumn and winter 2014.

Brews We Plate
Following on from our dinner at Merry’s, we’ll be working with the Brews We Plate team for a beer and food pairing pop up at Sip and Slurp in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. Chef Eric has put together a mouthwatering menu which again pairs each dish with one of our beers, while Flo will be taking care of service on the night. We are delighted to be working with this exciting and innovative team and look forward to experiencing what they do:
#BrewsWePlate has a simple mission. We offer food and craft beer lovers a great pop up experience. We occupy a different location for each event and invite an exciting brewery over to serve and introduce the guests to their best Irish-produced beers. On our side, we put together a tasting menu in which each dish is specifically designed to enhance the flavours, various characteristics and qualities of each beer. We aim at uniting the best of what Ireland has to offer in unique venues with a great atmosphere.
The Brews We Plate dinner will be on Saturday, 23rd August and tickets can be purchased via Eric and Flo.
