Can Conditioned Mahon Falls Rye Ale

Can Conditioned Mahon Falls Rye Ale

A punchy, fruity pale ale with a rye bite. Can Conditioned Spring seasonal release.

Mahon Falls Rye Pale Ale is all about the fresh flavour of American, Australian and English hops which are underscored by a nutty earthiness of rye malt.

March 2019 sees the fifth bottle release of our spring seasonal, Mahon Falls Rye Pale Ale which was first served at festivals in 2012 and went on to become our annual spring release after. Following a two year hiatus, we are delighted to welcome the spring once again with this punchy rye ale in can form.

Tropical fruit flavours are to the fore here with the use of Challenger, Galaxy, Summit and Ella hops to make this a punchy, fruity ale while underneath the nuttiness of the rye provides a contrasting earthiness.

Best served lightly chilled, from 8-12°C.

Food Pairings: This full-flavoured beer works great with lighter-flavoured foods like chicken, pork and fish or even with salad dishes.

Cheese pairings: The fruitiness of this Mahon Falls works really well with the tang of a Wensleydale or Caerphilly style cheese. Try Knockdrinna‘s Laviston or The Little Milk Company‘s Brewer’s Gold.

All our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and brewed and bottled in Dungarvan with only natural ingredients. Wheat free, vegan friendly. Contains a harmless yeast sediment.

As with all our beers, the bottles will contain a yeast sediment which is a by-product of the bottle conditioning process. This sediment is completely harmless and fine to drink, but if you prefer a clearer beer then leave the last drop in the bottle.
